What LED rating did you use for this DIY?

Just a suggestion..... Sand the end of the led to have a better light dispersal... That one super bright dot looks cheesy IMO

Sand the "head" down and appreciate the even flood of light

Not bad at all, but there are LED's that have a Diffused Lens and have a 160 Viewing Angle to do what you did.

I know but some here are using regular led's and having a bad "hot spot" which looks cheesy. Plus cheaper to buy a $1.29 led and sand the top ...I'm a cheapskate sometimes haha!

I got mine at SuperBrightLeds.com, They were $0.59, 120 degrees, didn't have to sand them and they also have the flat top that fits flush with the handle.

Cool! I'll have to find you and give you a hug (or buy you a beer or whatever, Lol).

You have no idea how much you've helped over the last couple of years!!

I thought I read somewhere that there was a dome light power wire in the large wire bundle behind the door speakers for these door handle lights. I just bought some LEDs to install in my door handles but not sure exactly where to wire them too. I don't want to go through the doors. I already have extra wires for other stuff and don't want to do anymore.
