Leaving Camaro at Airport
I work out of town most of the time and leave my car at the airport Mon-Thur. I have been lucky the past couple months since getting my Camaro and have been working in town. I was wondering if anyone else on here leaves their car at the airport and if you have any advice on keeping it clean and safe?

Keep a cover, tracking device, and always have your alarm on and your good to go.

I pay extra to park in the daily garage, and go to the highest level that is open...then I can find a spot on an end with a striped off (no parking) area next to it. Never had any problems.

Yeah I usually do the same. The extra bucks are definitely worth it. Even better if there's security..

I am sure it all depends on distance and costs (and if you can expense), but in the past it was worth it to to me to hire a limo service and keep the car in the garage.
But now I live only about 6 miles away and I call the wife when the plane door opens. |

I work at an airport and usually when I travel I just find the spot with the shade and leave it there.

The limo idea is a good one - but if you can't do that you are usually safe just going to a high floor of the parking garage and parking AWAY from the elevators and stairs. People are lazy and will park as close as possible. You'll be fine. People in an airport parking garage aren't really the kind to mess with your car anyway - they just want to get on their plane or get to their car and go home.

Park at an airport hotel with 24/7 security. Usually free shuttle to and from airport, and you usually don't have to pay the ridiculous prices for airport parking.

Thanks for the feedback guys.. I want to do the cover, but a little worried that it might bring even more attention to it.

thanks JMaynard. I've looked up a couple in San Antonio and for a couple dollars a day more than standard airport long term parking I can get garage parking at one location about a mile from the airport.
