vs late model 335i coupe.

I have a 2011 l99 with a vararam int, lg 1 7/8 headers, catless, full exhaust + jannetty tune vs a twin turbo inline 6 335i (manual) stage lll upgrades i think are intake exhaust cobb tune and ^ boost a tad. He weighs 3600ish , cars rated at 330 stock and those upgrades usually provide 100 hp/100tq. Race from 40 roll maybe? Lets say hes an average driver

Your in for a shock.
Bone stock it's closer to 350bhp.
However,
A 335 stage 3 tune is a minimum of 420whp.
If heavily modded, upwards of 500whp.

My boy has a z4 35i with a stage 3, 430whp/405wtq.
The other has a 135 with full bolt ons & meth mid 550whp.

They make a ton of power when modded.
Plus he's lighter.

interesting. I thought the stock turbos were pretty small on those, so boost couldn't be upped that much. i didnt think the stock block could handle much more either, isn't it just a carryover from the N/A version?

They can get about 4xx-whp on stock turbos, but any more then that, and they gotta go up a size or add meth. And the block is not the same as the N/A version of the E9X series, but it's very similar in composition to the E46 3.0 I-6. Vishnu tuning has been running over 650whp on a stock block on their shop car and as far as I know it's still running strong.
