Made it down to San Diego Friday night at 330am and didnt have any problems. Blu808 was able to replace my clutch in a matter of 24 hours and then took it to the audio shop to find the drain in the push button start system and resolve it.

Was cruising at 80-85mph on the way down to SoCal and averaged 24mpg with an 850hp car! that blew my minds that im getting that good of gas mileage with how much power the car has.

Had a BLAST at Targa Trophy yesterday, one of the funnest events ive ever been on. There was a white SS and a red v6 that went on the rally. I'll be posting photos and a write up in a day or two. The next event is on May 19th so we can hopefully get a group together for the rally.

well im guessing since there is no need performance wise to change them. the HKS have a distinct sound, which you can change because of a removable fin within the disharge chamber. I used to run the them both on my supra and MR2. why change? TIAL for your boost and power levels should work fine if not better than the Type1 HKS bov you pictured??? also are you sure these are gonna be easy to get? HKS usa closed its doors a while back.

My current BOV is pretty quiet, I wanna try something different. Maybe I posted the wrong picture, but I'm going to run dual SSQV II BOVs.....my shop called HKS in SoCal to get them ordered.

hmm if memory serves me correct there were two types. type 1 came in two generations...ssqv and ssqv II. Type 2 (rare) was designed for high boost and horsepower applications.

here are some pics from left to right..HKS ssqv, ssqv II, type2. may want to clarify since both gens of type 1 would work but not sure if they can handle your boost levels. Type 2 can for sure. either way love the sound of HKS. i miss hearing it.

Mine's actually different from lukes.....its 2 separate plenums that converge into a single throtte body. For now, I'm keeping the stock TB, not real use in getting a bigger throttle body because I won't see that big of an increase.

I've been waiting for this intake since the beginning on December, so I'm REALLY excited to get it!!
