OK Gang question for you all.
I put your long tube header and high flow cats on my V6 2010 Camaro love the sound and the boost in horse power. However the car is now showing a check engine light and the code points back to the high flow cats how do I get around this with out pulling everything off and going back to the OEM parts? We have look at just placing the old cats on but now with out doing some heavy modification to the piping going from a 3” to a 2 ½” pipe and cutting and re-welding things to make the old fit the new. To add to the mess the emissions test is do next month. If you can help that would be great please no crakers about should have got a V8.
Thanks Bill

So whats the best headers you can get for the v6 for hp/torque gains?? I think the American racing headers seem to be the best (Im talking about only headers, no pipes/cats)

I believe BBK are the best from the research I've done previously. Just ordered mine from the BBK website. I am going with the ceramic as they will look better and hopefully have better longevity for a moderate price increase. If you use the code SPRING1 or SPRING2 at checkout through the end of March you get like $120 off You will have to deal with a check engine code after install, and the only way I have found to have this removed is to get a tune which is usually done by Trifecta. If anybody has any other ways to remove the check engine code I am open to suggestions. Good luck!
