17" or 18" Rear Wheels

I see that some of yall or using 18" Wheels with Mickey Thompsons... I heard that 17" wheels are the way to go... Any thoughts????

18s that clear the brembos are hard enough to find as is. I don't think any 17s will fit.

Now, if you have a V6 I think you could go all the way down to 16s, but don't quote me on that.

No. I have a ss loaded!! Need a good drag wheel and tire. MTs are probably going to be the tire but undecided on the wheel size for rear. I heard a 17" works great but only see 18" on this site..
