BMR strut brace and CAI?

Has anyone installed the 4 point BMR strut brace on a 2010-11 SS and also has the CAI intake? I'm not sure if the arms will clear the top of the CAI box.

Judging from installed pics of both products, I don't think the STB014 is going to work with the CAI intake. But you could use the STB016 instead!!!

The engine bay looks the same, but just to confirm, will this strut tower brace fit a '14 SS? I think I may have to order this one!

No, sorry, that one won't work with a 2014. The STB017 is the only STB we offer that fits on the 2014.

Damn, oh well. That one is cheaper. Followup question: "black hammertone," is that just matte black?

Their black hammertone is really a unique color. It looks like a flat black, but up close its kind of gray and black speckled. You can kind of see in this pic:

Yeah, the black hammertone does look pretty good, same as what's on the STB pictured above in the engine bay. It's a nice textured metallic charcoal color....more glossy in my opinion.

Slightly textured, you can see the small "dimples" on the LCA pictured above.
