I see.

are these like the OEM and clip in or like the cheap ebay ones that use double sided tape?

because everywhere I look the cheap tape on ones are under $100, but the clip in like factory are $150+

cool thanks.. I bought some black ones off ebay last year that claimed to install like OEM in the ad, but were stick on, ended up just painting my chrome, but I broke one of the clips in the process.

Just plasti dip them.

Once you take them off once, they will come of easier in the future, e.g., if you need to touch them up again. The first time is the real SOB.

In any case, you need to take them off anyways, regardless if you are buying new black pre painted ones, or painting them yourself. Since you need to take them off anyways, do your best, and if you succeed without damaging the tabs significantly,, you can now paint them yourself, and save the cash for something else.

meh..

I plasti-dipped mine, didn't last more than a few months before you started seeing it peel.

additionally I broke mine the 3rd time removing them because I have had to send in my technostalgia tail-lights twice for repair, and it appears a third time may be in the mists..
