I've been running a Centerforce twin for 4 years now, just turned 80k on it, only making 713rwhp. I have over 50 track days with it as well, road course, drag and autocross. Its a really nice driving clutch.

Triple Carbon Clutches
Whats up guys, I had a Mantic Clutch, I was putting down 902hp/926ftlbs tq. The mantic clutch didnt last very long when i started making hits at this power. Although I did have it for 30,000 miles on 540hp n/a and did make lots of pulls.
I recently Put down 1,031hp with a new built Tr6060 and Im using the Triple Carbon Street Slayer clutch By RPS. It is touchy at first but alls you have to do is work the engagement and disengagement points. ( slowly slip it and give it a little gas) this rounded it off making it more streetable within the first 300 miles. This is my daily driver and i do not have 1 complaint. The clutch is more then capable of holding everything i can throw at it. Another thing to think about to, its a triple and carbon, carbon will last longer. Its expensive, BUT if it ever wears out they will rebuild it to new for half the price. That seems like a really good deal. |

My Mantic 9000 die for the 2nd time, I think the Camaro is just too heavy for it, worked great for a year both times and I don't even track my car, just fun street driving with street tires, I'm sure it works great in the lighter vette's, I'm done moving on to something that can handle 700+rwhp and the heavy 4,200 lbs

I'm that confident in the unit. Not to mention we just had one of our LT1-R street twins go 8.5's two weekends ago. |

Mine is stiff as hell and has a wandering engagement. Pisses me off that I spent the money on it. Next up is a Mantic 9000 or RXT. Might need more info on the Monster where they do the buy back if your not satisfied....

Absolutely.
It's an off-the-shelf LT1-R with the lightweight flywheel option. Last edited by Steve@SNL/Monster Clutch; 09-09-2014 at 04:53 PM. Reason: Wasn't finished typing. :) |
