Best place to tap wire for footwell LEDs

I have see the wire Color codes and locations for a 2010, my question is are they the same for a 2014? Before I start taping into a dozen wires I want to make sure its the same for my car.

Oh and what is the brightest undercarriage LEDs available?

Thanks

I used the gray wire from the gray connector on the BCM. Check this thread out http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?p=7033829

Ok, I was wondering if 2010 and 2014 had the same wiring. Thanks!

passenger side footwell. Under steering wheel is un-fused. Check out GEN5DIY for the correct wires on the passenger side http://www.gen5diy.com/Lighting/foot...Foot_well_kits

Should be the same. A quick check with your head in the footwell will confirm. I used that wire as well, would recommend.

I had a t tap vibrate loose from that wire. Burned out the BCM. go on passenger kick panel. Was a threadf on here about a ZL1 having bcm problems, moved it to the fused side,no problems. Live and learn. Just trying to pass on the info.

I too used the cigarette lighter, but added an additional in line fuse.

BCM, gray plug, pin 1 is dome supervision. I don't know if that circuit has the variable start and stop like what we see in our dome lights though.
