Pretty poor depiction, especially of a NASCAR Car of Tomorrow. Nowhere near within specs and definitely not what it would look like.

The Pony cars are only being allowed in the NationWide Series. The Photoshop pic is rather close to the new cars for next year. I think another main reason Chevy declined the Camaro is the cost for their support. They already have the Impala in place, and after getting bailed out it wouldn't look good putting money in another direction.....

Doing this to a Camaro would be a sin!

thank-you, GM, for not succumbing to degrading our classic icon like that.

i agree with having a GT2 car using the BIWs

I hope you're right that the real thing will look 500 times better. That rendering is a disgrace to the Stang and America Muscle Cars.

I've said it for years now, NASCAR needs to adopt Grand AM Rolex GT rules. If Grand AM and figure out how to make tube chassis cars appear like stock, run production based engines and keep the field level surely NASCAR could. Rolex GT has Pontiac, BMW, Porcshe, and Mazda all running neck and neck with stock appearing and stock based engines. The true meaning of win on Sunday, sell on Monday!

Props to GM for not bastardizing the Camaro styling!!

Ewww... That render of a Nationwide Mustang looks horrid! But then all the NASCAR cars do since they are all basically using the same hand made body with different Manufacturer decals stuck all over them.
Agree! Would be great in the Rolex GT Class or some class with the Vette that the body would appear close to stock! That's what I want to watch!
Bring back the Trans-Am Series and International Race of Champions!

Although were Fans of Dale Earnhardt Jr and Tony Stewart I hate the look of the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series cars.
Way to go GM for not disgracing the Camaro and make it something it is not just to be in NASCRAP! Pace cars are fine for now there!
I'd love to see a NHRA Pro Stock 2010 Camaro with old Bill Grumpy Jenkins!

Too bad it's not like the old days with lots of dinero to burn for body in white cars to be supplemented by GM.
