Autozone has a good deal on Mobil 1 right now:
$36.99 - Mobil 1 5 quarts & Mobil One Oil Filter
$38.99 - Mobil 1 EP 5 quarts & Mobil One Oil Filter

https://www.autozone.com/images/MEDI...ar(rebate).pdf

I may try the Mobil 1 EP, two bucks more.

That would be cool, I could use the help, I am pretty good at this type of thing. I almost thought about having Best Buy do it for $99.99, but it looks strait forward. Yes, you can get a backup camera too for $149.99, I am sure a cheaper brand may work too. Here is the thread I have been reading, the only thing that may not work with this, is the phone button on the steering wheel for bluetooth calls, but you can just push the touch screen for that, it also has voice command.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=219734

The other head unit I have been looking at is the Alpine INA-W910, it seems to have less features, and no voice command from what I can tell. Here is the thread, the guy that posted this did not use the stock xm antenna, I think it looks bad with the extra xm antenna on the dash.:

Here's some pics from Saturday's Reunion drag race. I included my slow time slips too. It was my first time down the track, so there's a lot of driver improvement that can be done. Did the fuse pull the night before, but ran it like it was on the street-didn't lower the tire pressure, empty out the trunk or pull the plastic engine cover off. Best time was my first time at 13.827 @103.00 mph. Nice top end but not much coming off the line. Next time out, maybe I'll get a little more serious. Had lots of fun and my dad saw some of his old friends.

I found this backup camera, it's $115.00, kinda pricey, but you do not need to cut up your car.

I need a heated/power passenger mirror painted cgm. Anyone have any connections? I had ordered from amazon but the mirror was a terrible quality (massive gaps)

Monthly Club Meeting

This month's dinner & meeting (7 PM Thursday, 10 May) will be held in central Tucson. I've made arrangements with Jason's Deli, 6061 E Broadway Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85711 (Across from Park Place Mall). NOT THE ONE ON ORACLE!!! The manager will reserve parking for us in front of the restaurant, and give us the separated section at the end of the dining area.

Please e-mail or PM me if you plan to attend. Let me know the number of people and Camaros (for you lucky SOB's that have more than one). I'll confirm the numbers with Jason's Wednesday night.

I'll send this out to the e-mail group as well. Hope to see you all Thursday night!

So Wildcat... are you auto or manual ? Judging by your traps, you must be pretty close to stock, yes ? Your 60 ft times were definitely hurting you. It will only get better from here.

Sean, Big Sis is going in tomorrow to have the dragging sound on backup looked at. I looked up the TSB you listed as a sticky, 10-5-23-002, and did not get a hit on it. I thought that may be the NHTSA's number but no hit there either. The service writer had heard of "an issue" but did not think it was a TSB. Can you shed any more light on this issue for me, like a GM TSB number?

Hey Jeff, just tell Terri to stop walking backwards and that will solve the problem. Sorry, couldn't resist!

Yes, the L99 auto. I bought the car used and it came with cat back exhaust and a cold air intake. It still has AFM, so I'm not sure if it's been tuned or not. Yeah, a better driver could probably get better 60' times
I don't know when I'll go out next, probably not for a couple months. But I learned a lot and I'll definetly do better next time.

The TBS I posted, was the wrong one I guess. I have not a clue what it ma be. I remember something about the ABS needing reprogrammed or something.

My guess is that it will have something to do with reflashing a part of the ECM. We'll let you know the outcome of Terri's visit tomorrow.
