V6 Camaro

If this is what the V6 Camaro is going to sound like, and with a manual transmission, sign me up! Sure it's a bit low on horses (304) but the CTS DOES weigh a ton AND you know what they say, it's always more fun to drive a slow car fast, than a fast car slow!

Nearly two tons. 3861 pounds, specifically. Over two tons with me in the driver's seat.

FWIW, my bit about the ton was meant as humor, not trying to be a jerk. I often find it funny to point out when someone uses an idiom when the same words could be used literally.

I want everyone to let that statement sink in for a second......
When talking about Horsepower, 300 is now considered low. Are we spoiled or what?

To put that into a little bit of perspective: My Dad's bada$$ '79 Z28 has 170hp........

I agree that we are getting spoiled and technology has gotten quite good.

In 1995 my Camaro was rated at 200HP, and the Z28 was rated at 305 I think. So things have changed quite a bit.

275 in 95 for the Z.

304 is not bad at all.

Thanks for the clarification, I knew it went up to 305 at some point but wasn't sure when it was.

Either way, I will be happy with 304 out of a V-6.

At 300hp+, even the V6 Camaro will be a pretty bad ass ride.
