Gas Suppliers

I know the manual says to use gas stations listed on toptiergas.com
I have a gas station in my area that sells 94 octane 0 ethanol gas, the supplier is sunoco, I notice sunoco canada is listed on top tier gas, is that the same thing? Otherwise to get no ethanol I have to drive a lil further for 91 provided by conoco phillips....any input on this. I have been running 91 for little while now, and prefer it to 87 in the v6, I am tempted to give the 94 a shot. Otherwise I look at running 91 from conoco or shell that has up to 10% ethanol, which I prefer the ethanol free

I don't believe it will help/harm you with the V6. That I am aware of, the higher octane is only required in the V8.

It is not required but I have noticed a decrease in the raspiness at higher rpms with the v6, along with a 2 mpg increase in fuel economy on average, even with driving it hard...testing done by scrming indicates that it reduced the knock by a decent bit...All in all, I think it is worth it, its not necessary, but to me it is preferable. Which is one of the reasons I prefer to run ethanol free also, the gas seems to go a bit further
