After today, I no longer hate my bumper. Why?
I was backing out of a space in my school's parking lot while simultaneously turning, and I backed into a lamp post

that was hiding in my blind spot.
I waited until I made it all the way home to inspect the damage, and I'm greeted to a few ships in the paint, with only a couple spots down to the plastic. Guess I'll be taking some touch up paint to it later on today after I give her a good washing. I'm so thankful it's not as bad it could have been.

And parents, this is why you don't get your kids a brand new car when they start driving. WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES.

Yeah, I'm trying to wrap my mind around that one.

On a side note, looks like it'll buff right out or the most part. Definitely not as bad as the cracked paint it had in the same spot when we got it.

the same thing for me when some lady in traffic hit my bumper. i had more paint loss then your accident but it didnt break or anything

That was about two or three weeks after I got my car. I was going out to lunch with my friend Josh and we were stopped at a stoplight waiting to turn... then all the sudden we get slammed forward into the car in front of me. my front bumper was pretty scratched up. The kid that hit me was goin about 40 and slammed on his brakes before he hit me, so I don't really know about how fast he was goin when he hit me, but the accident totaled my car, but the repairs only cost 1700. So all in all I got about 3400 from the car and 400 dollars for pain and suffering, I wasn't able to compete in the state tournament for tennis, which was a big deal for me since I was playing Varsity as a freshman.

At least you walked away $1700 richer.
