290k starting price bro... probably up to 300k with a few options... thats why i decided to just get it here and ship it back... Skip the middle man...

Sara7a I too would strongly consider getting it from the states....but the issue is if tomorrow I'm in Sharjah and Sharjah police decides to confiscate my car bcuz they think it's modified, I'm screwed....all my monies r gone bro!! That's what happened to a friend of mine. He imported a Mustang Roush from states, brand new 2012, only 3 months old....SHJ police thought he modified a stock mustang. He tried to reason with them but they said get a letter from the agency claiming this car comes from factory like that but the boys at al Tayer turned their backs on him cuz he didn't buy the car from them.
Now the poor guy has no Roush and has lost all of the 200k he had spent to get the car cuz apparently the police r going to export his car and not even pay for him for it!!

WoW bro... thats crazy... But you're safe with the ZL1 cuz they will be bringing it in 2013... And I have a friend in Al Tayer and I remember them mentioning that they brought in a few mustang roush's... If I was your friend, I wouldnt stay quiet... I would go crazy if that happened to me....

FYI the ZL1 is 210k in the states, compared to the 290k rip off...

But thats what I'm saying. Al Tayer did have Roush when my friend had his car. He just wanted a letter from them saying that the mustang roush come like that from factory...but because he had his car imported in and he didn't but it from Al Tayer, they refused to give him the letter. Point being that they could have given it to him but they didn't. I'm worried if I get the car from states and something similar happens to me and A Ghandi nor Liberty give me the letter, then I'm screwed. Anyways, lets see. Even if they come out with the 1LE here...I don't mind working on that myself.

If you don't mind me asking, how much is the shipping costing you?

the car was 58k and shipping was nearly 3k with full shipping insurance... Thats dollars of course...

Not trying to step on your tail but $61k is 224k AED, if we include a dealer price increase, maximum 250k AED. Still an epic car for the money, and worth it.

The car here is $58,683 which is 215,953 dhs... The dealers in the UAE said it would be starting at 290,000 dhs... And don't worry, you're not stepping on anyones tail...
