Vortech guys help me out

I have not been able to find a video or hear in person how loud the V3 is. I have read that it is pretty loud and sounds like a blower should. That high pitched whine. Could those of you with one chime in.

Here is a video of my car on the dyno with the V3.

You can hear it winding up pretty good on there.

The vortech isn't super loud at idle. You get a little of that blower whistle/whine sound and it is noticeable. It sounds pretty cool driving when you rev up and shift and hear the blow-off.

It's not as loud and obvious as the YSI, but you still get a decent sound out of it.

Thats because the V3 has a Helical gear design. Unlike the YSI and it's straight cut gears.

top notch kits, i had one on my 08 c6 auto, and it ran 10.8's on 18's with only a 2.73 gear..

we sell a ton of them for the mustangs as well, and it's what i run on my 9.03 daily driver.

great company, and they stand behind their kits

not too loud at all, but you can always make it louder if you want to!
