Lovin it! All 3 pics with striping down the middle look hot. I think thats gonna be the way to go with the 5th gen model.

Agreed. That really does look like the way to go. Those are verrrry nice. I hope the factory offers up some kind of nice painted striping and doesn't do some vinyl aftermarket stuff.
If anyone knows how to do photo shop, can someone try to change the above pix to the corvettes "Sunset Metallic Orange" color? Maybe with some different colored stripes (white, black). I would love to check those out! |

The dealer here in town that I have already talked to about ordering said they have a custom paint shop to be able to add stripes (if they don't already have them).

Everytime I see a photoshop of the concept in black, it makes me rethink my position on a color once I order one. It really looks nasty in black. But already having a black car, I know the work involved, and I don't know that I want 2 black cars to be anal over?!
I'm still leaning towards a lighter coloer, ie; silver, with no striping. I prefer the "clean" look. |

i think it looks really good in black. you can never go wrong with black. the best was to get a black car is new because if you get a used black car the odds are the persone before you didnt know how to take care of it. if you get a new black car you can make sure you dont mess up the paint and always keep it waxed and keep any kind of swirling from getting into the paint. if you know how to wax a car the right way. black car never ever do swirls while applying wax. i got a black escalade now and i keep it emaculate. i also detail cars on the side so i guess you have to have a will to want to take care of something as much as a black car needs
