BMR springs have altered my camber settings!!

Hey guys,

As always i shall start with the fact that I am a complete newbie to the springs department (amongst many other things).
I recently added BMR's 1" lowering spring kit to my 2010 SS that is riding on 22" wheels. Immediately upon installion, the technician pointed out that I needed to adjust my camber settings since the front and back wheels looked (and I assume ARE) tilted. The guy was like I can take it to any reputable wheels and tires guys and they should be able to fix this. When i went to such a place, they asked me "to what setting I want it to be setted to?"
I had no idea what they were talking about. I told them I just want the wheels to be straight, to which the guy there replied saying "you can't just set it to anything I or he likes." He's like tell me numbers like -1, -0.5, 0, 0.5 or 1.

Now I have absolutely no clue what the figure/setting should be. Heck I dont even know if my wheels are fine tilting in that way or should they be straight.

I would really appreciate it if you guys could hook me up with some good advice, perhaps numbers for the front and back wheels.

So summary of what I have....I got BMR's 1" lowering springs kit working with 22" wheels.

Look forward to hearing from you veterans soon!!

Stock alignment settings for a V8 -

Front Camber: -.8, +/- .75
Rear Camber: -.4 +/- .75
Cross Camber: 0 +/- .75

Front Caster: 6.4 +/- .75
Rear Caster: 6.6 +/- .75
Cross Caster: 0 +/- .75

Total Toe: +0.2 Degrees +/- .2 Degrees
Thrust Angle: 0 degrees +/- .3 Degrees

If you want to go a little more aggressive you can. I would suggest contacting BMR for what they recommend.

Lowered cars will always have more severe camber than when sitting taller, this is not an issue. Get a proper street performance alignment and smile, many threads from Pedders and other suspension vendors on here with tips on what settings you can use.

Thank you very much for your help. I JUST checked out BMR's online instruction and they have suggested values there. I guess I will follow that for the time being and see how that pans out for me.

Again, thank you very much!!
