Question 2010 camaro ss or this..

Well I am tired of waiting. Should I buy a 2007 Corvette, black, manual trans, fully loaded, Z51 package 3LT car with 2600 kms for the same price as the camaro?

The vette sounds nice but really its all in what you want. Maybe the best of both worlds would be to buy the vette and have some fun then trade it on a camaro when the line isnt so long.

If the wife would let me, I'd have a new C6. If you have no kid constraints, the vette is a better car. But it's up to you, what do you want?

The thing I don't like about the vette is that it doesn't have the same connectivity package. No wireless PDIM, no ipod hook up.

I just sold my 2007 black C6 this week. It is personal preference. Its a 100% different car. Don't try to compare them. The Corvette will out perform the Camaro in ALL aspects. In time (maybe 6 months to a year) when Camaros ar everywhere, the Corvette will win in curb appeal too. BUT... I feel the Camaro is MUCH more comfortable. To me the seats in the C6 were crap. The 2SS is so much more comfortable.

Did I switch over b/c of the seats, hell no. Do I expect the rush the corvette gave... some but not completely. I switched b/c "I" like the Camaro better and really thats all that matters.

You can't go wrong with either car.

I love the styling of the camaro, and the fact that it is new and still unique. But the speed and looks of the vette are tempting. Plus i have been waiting 8 months for my camaro so I would feel bad backing out. But guys, a vette? ah I am torn between them. I will put it this way. If my camaro came today id grab it in a second, but If it was going to be another month at least. I would prob grab a corvette.

I was in the same situation and decided to go with the Camaro 1SS. I'll enjoy the Camaro for the next three years and wait until the Corvette gets re-designed. I think the vette still looks the very similar to the 1997 model. It’s definitely time for a real makeover!

I think the Camaro's design is strong and bold enough that it will still turn heads well into its 2nd and maybe 3rd year of production.

Got to be a Z06 or ZR1 for a vette IMHO.
