Could always switch out to a different power source for a larger unit. The aerodynamics seem solid, so why not?

Cruze EPA highway 36. My lead foot highway driving 32.

Q5 EPA highway 27. My same driving speed and habit 29.5

Most likely the power to weight advanatage of the Q5.
The Cruze has 138HP and the Q5 has 211HP, thats a 50% jump in HP.
I doubt that the Q5 is 50% heavier than the Cruze.

The Q5 engine is not straining as hard as the Cruze engine is, under the same driving conditions.

Cruze 88 MPH is 141 KPH
Audi 88.5 KPH is 55 MPH

You forgot to switch the Audi to MPH
