Mine is coming to the same area as yours in Alabama so hopefully there is a glitch and mine is on the same train. I live in Madison but the dealer I found mine at is in Arab. They keep telling me it’s still in Michigan and haven’t gotten any updates. He hasn’t gave me any codes or anything like that, all I know is the VIN from their post and that the car is in transit. I wish I had some visibility on it.

We’re damn near neighbors, I live in Hampton Cove and the dealership that had an allocation Donohoo Chevy in Fort Payne.

How is everyone finding out info on their car? Are you having to contact the dealer each time you want an update or is there somewhere online you can check the status. I didn’t order my car so I don’t have an order number

There are a couple members on the forum that update your status when requested in the "order status" thread.

As long as your dealer has good communication they will keep you updated or update you as requested.

Every time there’s a status change my salesman sends me status update showing previous date and code and or vehicle location with a google earth GPS link to click on. I’ve never had to reach out to them, they’ve always been on top of things. The original dealer I placed an order with on the other hand was exactly the opposite. Treated me like a mushroom, kept me in the dark and fed me shit.

Guess it depends on the dealership.

This is very true. Each dealer decides how involved they want to be and how informed they want their customer to be. I found a good one but I also had inside info (knew people that worked there). I am also served updates without needing to ask (even though I did pester them a few times... )

Mine both showed Delayed twice, once in Lansing and New Boston. The car was produced 26 April then just sat in overflow lots for months.
