I so want to get this game but I'm too mad over Microsoft's decision of not releasing Fable 2 for the PC. I've been told by several of my friends who are playing Fable 3 that a good bit of the game relies on you having a saved game file of Fable 2 and I refuse to buy a Xbox just for Fable as there is no other exclusive game on the Xbox that I'm interested in.

Yeah, you can still buy and rent houses and such. Money is much easier to gather in Fable III i've noticed. Once you get rank 5 of any job (which didn't take me long) you'll be raking in the cash.

I've been playing it, i got hooked on the series when fable 2 came free with my 360. not a fan of some of the changes they've made, but overall its a lot of fun.

Anyone give the co-op mode a go yet? improved much over fable 2?

I started playing it today....it's a pretty good game, kinda liked 2 better at this point but kinda too early to tell.

I did do a quest wehre I hadda make this chick divorce her husband, and then she offered me large sums of money to just kill him and marry her....never got the money, so she ended up dead and the kid went to the orphange.

so if you do that quest, when they give you the choice to kill the guy or walk away....just walk away.

I found the decisions after becoming king harder than all of the combined battles to get to be king. Now I need to replay the game to make different decisions. Gotta get them achievements.

Word of warning to anyone going through those steps... when you get to 121 days left till the attack, THAT IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO RAISE ENOUGH MONEY!! I didn't realize this and completed the tasks for that day thinking I had enough time... 5 million citizens dead Doh!

Going through on another character now to correct those mistakes.

So the 1980s cover art syndrom still goes on in today commercials, where what you see on the box cover/TV isn't anything remotly even close to what the games is.
Game marketers have been doing this forever. Its very rare you see actual ingame playable footage in a game trailer or commercial. Most of them are based of the cinematic cut scenes. Which is usually why i'll hit up Youtube for additional gameplay footage.

This game gets quite frustrating....I need to find "Saul" who is SUPPOSED to be right outside the reliquary, and escort him down and he has a special key to unlock a door with some flint switches in it that I need to get to the last gold key door..........I better quit playing before the controller goes thru the TV

I hate the fact that you can't have several saves. With buggy games, sometimes old saves are the only way to get past stuff!

I also hate holding hands in the game. That's pretty lame most of the time.
