...probably if you babied the car and didn't stand on it alot during break in the curve needs to be adjusted. Pull the 5 and 20 fuse, clear the ECM, and drive hard. It will learn via algorythims. Only run 93 octane fuel. It's used to Granny mode right now if you are not feeling it.

Congrats. Sold my 2006 GTO for the SS. Love my SS but I must admit, I miss the GTO.

Thanks for the warm welcome! The ZL1 is a work of art.
I took it out for some fun today and it did much better. I just need to remember that the car is doing stuff for me and get used to the feeling of it. My GTO gave a lot of feedback and it had consistent feel through the corners since it rolled and reacted the same way every time in the twisties...kind of analog vs digital... I think a track day will go a long way to helping me get used to it all. I'm going to take everyone's advice and pull the fuses regardless, a reset couldn't hurt any.

Congrats! Had mine for 5 weeks, and hit the 1000 mile mark today. I'll be taking a long drive this weekend to finally finish the break-in period.

Congrats on the ZL1
I too own an '05 GTO. Bought it new and now have just over 21,000 miles on it. But I decided to keep it.
Here is a picture of the two.

I sold my 05 GTO which was a performance value for sure, a real solid car for 2010 SS/RS. Talk about ugly, man the thing looked like a Ford Probe!

Maybe we should start a poll of how many went the GTO to ZL1 route. I have a 06 GTO and I couldn't part with it either. I am letting my son drive it. My wife calls me car hoarder.

Well, if you're going to be a car hoarder, then you're certainly doing it right.
