Roto Fab or CAI?

Well guys im bout to order my intake. I have narrowed it down to either a black CAI intake or the Roto Fab. What do you guys think I should pull the trigger on? Im leanin towards the Roto Fab.

I couldn't be happier with my Roto Fab and highly recommend them. The responses you will receive here (like mine) are going to come down to whatever each person owns. Overall you won't be disappointed with either one, as they are both excellent products.

You can also look into Texas Speed's CAI. The price is awsome as well as the performance.

Here is what I generally tell people to do when choosing a Cold Air Intake, ask yourself one question..."Why am I buying a cold air intake?" The answer should be to keep the air flowing as fast and cold as possible. Here is what we do to ensure we are keeping the air flowing fast and cold, as well as some other design features:

: Tig welded aluminum air box (high luster finish reflects radiant heat)

: Insulated air box (this adding another layer of thermal (convection) protection)

: Aluminum lid with stainless steel ¼ turn fasteners (fast filter removal)

: Viewing window for fast easy filter inspection.

: High Luster ceramic coated intake tube (coated inside and out, yet another layer of thermal protection)

: Smooth bore (88.9 mm) intake tube construction (this minimizes bends and restrictions within the system)

: 8” V-stack air filter with built in velocity stack and smooth bore tune stop (helps reduce turbulence for truer MAF reading)

: 8 layer air filter (maximizing filtration for prolonged engine life

:LIFETIME WARRANTY
Now ask yourself, what features do other intakes have to keep the air cold, afterall isn't that what you are paying for? Through our enclosed and insulated air box as well as our ceramic coated intake tubes we can keep your intake air temp within 2 degrees of ambient air (on average)
Here are some other helpful links for you to look at:

Not to mention the system looks great!! We have sold thousands, been featured in various well respected performace magazines, and have thousands of happy customers. Let me know if you have any questions, I would be happy to help!

I am one of the owners who prefers the Roto-Fab over the CAI. I honestly don't like the looks of the CAI box myself...I bought the Roto-Fab and it has performed to my expectations; looks great, fit and finish is awesome, and sounds mean!

Why not get the Halltech Yellowjacket. It's the same price as the RF and shares the top spot with the CAI which is more expensive.

I was torn between these two also.. But when it came down to it for performance everything I was reading showed that CAI was the way to go. Not to mention that the Rotofab I would have wanted cost a something like $500+ and all that just to have an intake that looks good isn't worth it to me when I could have better performance and a cai that still looks good. In the end I couldn't be happier with my CAI inc cai.
