Roto-Fab Installed!!!

Just got done installing my roto-fab intake and it was simply a breeze! I ordered from Morano Racing on Friday and it was on my doorstep when I got home today. From opening the box to starting the engine for an ops check took exactly 40 minutes.Very simple to install with excelent illustrated instructions. The sound under the hood and out of my stock exhaust is very noticeable. There is a faint whistle from the intake when I rev which I think sounds great. The exhaust note is maybe a bit lower but seems slightly louder. I haven't had a chance to road test it thanks to traffic being a nightmare. Won't have a chance until Friday, but I'm excited to see what, if any, gains are made from this installation. Here are a few pics of the finished product:

Looks great. I went with the same set up and the dry filter as well. I installed a few days ago and LOVE mine. Definitely one of the best looking CAI's for the Camaro and I can definitely already tell the car has a little more pick me up. Woohoo!

Yep. Just drove it to the grocery store and noticed a bit more livelyness from the car and the stock exhaust note. Not agressive like aftermarket exhaust, but more noticeable than before. I still have to take it out to the freeway on ramp to see if there is anything noticable from the butt dyno. Can't wait to get my JBA axle back ordered and installed!

Yeah, I'm really debating between this model of CAI and the Vararam. I'm just going to have to do some more research on both I guess. I like the way the Roto-Fab looks under the hood.

Definitely. I'm very surprised at how just a CAI affects the overall sound of a stock car. I had a CAI on my previous car, a 2000 mustang, and you could barely ever hear it. I'd hear it sucking in air from time to time, but nothing as impressive as this setup.

Money well spent. I'd recommend Roto-Fab to anyone looking for a good CAI. Quick shipping, easy install too.

Great choice! I love my Roto-Fab. I have had it for about 3,000 miles now and haven't had any problems at all. I love the whistle and on my car it keeps getting louder. You will really like how your car sounds with the RF intake and your new exhaust. Battle of the sounds haha.

+1 for Roto-Fab.

Now relocate that Windshield Washer Bottle (get the Roto-Fab Windshielkd Washer Relocation Kit) so that Your car can get better air flow to that Great Roto-Fab CAI.

Vararam has some pretty good numbers, and I considered their CAI also. But, in the end I liked the look of the Roto-Fab. The Vararam created so much empty space under the hood, I thought it looked kinda wonky. Loved the clean look of the Roto-Fab. Now all I need is the washer fluid relocation down the road.
