Wow - that was some hit! That was some speed to spin her 180 & knock her off the street & then do that much damage to the other car! Sounds like it could be considered reckless driving for that much damage on a residential street. Very glad she's ok - but I would recommend a doc visit for that type of hit.
My aunt was hit when she was younger and ended up having back issues her entire life. Thought it was minor when it actually happened. |

Down here in Florida, there are a lot of bad drivers; the worst I think are the stupid truck drivers. Here, all the trucks are lifted and always have the same black rims and crappy exhaust. One time I was driving and pulled up to a stop light behind some old guy in a Malibu and a lady in a mini van. The light turns green and the two people ahead of me go and some big lifted black truck with six wheels plows them going 80. It is hard keeping my car safe from idiots on the road.

Glad to hear that your wife is alright. A car can be replaced but not the wife. I'm sure that state farm insurance will go after the party that hit her and his insurance co. will be picking up a rather large tab.

State Farm will be relentless in this, and not give up. We went through a similar ordeal several years ago, and State Farm stayed on the guy until he finally paid them. It was either that or he was going to lose his license. He even called our house begging us to "call them off". LOL I told him it was out of our hands, since our car was repaired and he would have to deal with State Farm. The state was about to take his license, when he finally caved and payed them for their loss.

Wow that's a pretty big hit. Glad she's okay though. From your picture it even looks like the roads were wet and worst part is that it was in a residential neighborhood

Hoping she stays alright. When I got hit in ass by a Lawyer (who was on his cell phone) on the highway, my car looked similar to hers. Felt fine that day but a couple days later ( and now still years later) my back is messd up. Praying she stays healthy.

That's why I'm worried about, the months and years after. She's got some major pain going on now.
