I have been in a few accidents and I have hit a dear, I always wear my seat belt and people that don't are stupid. Of course nobody plans on crashing i guess i should of left that out, but unless a car got a 1 star and was a death trap it wouldn't keep me from buying it if thats what i wanted. i guess that was my point.

Gotcha that is a bit clearer, no it's not a death trap but they boasted the weight for all the saftey and it's supposed to conform to 2012 standards sorry but when you said "well i dont plan to crash" i was like no hard feelings lol

I guess the big 3 can sell their labs, all their equipment, and lay off 100's of people because all they have to do is post up a video here to have a crash test properly analyzed.

I want more information other than the title of a YouTube video. After all, I can post the same video and put 3 star rating in the title.

From what I've heard and seen it looks like the Camaro is holding up well in crashes. I saw a post where someone hit a tree really hard in the front and it definately totalled the car yet he walked away with no issues.

Whats so bad about it? The cabin looks good. The car looks like it only crushed the front where there isnt really much anyways.

they have all kinds of high tech sensors that tell what forces entered the cabin and possible damage to the people inside, trust me it doesn't matter how good it looks they use the looks for about 2% of the test.
It's more about how much energy was transferred to the cabin and less about how much it crushed in inches or whatever.

Umm what was worng with that one? Not sure what you are looking for in video? Engine didn't land in front seat, seems pretty good to me, but like I said....not sure what I should be watching for.

Thumbs up

After the crash the front wheels are still rollong. Look at the Dodge and the wheels locked. Dose not seem to be a poor test at all and I feel very safe in mine.

Are you guys seriously going off looks alone? shall we forget about all the sensors these people have?

this is the NHTSA not 4 guys on a forum who are going off "how much it didn't crush" "looks good to me"

Okay...well the OP doesnt provide any sort of "sensor" info now does he. Hes merely going off the video too. So unless you have info about the "sensors" theres not much else to go off of.

Thank you.
