Best headers for LLT
Hey y'all, I'm looking to do some headers on my 2011 v6 and wanted to know your opinions on which system I should use. I sadly do have to pass emissions, although I might be able to *pass*

I wanna say the most popular would be the BBK longtube headers. Adding the headers will set off your CEL, so you're gonna want to couple the headers with a tune. An easy fix would be the trifecta tune.

There aren’t many choices for the V6 if you want long tubes. For instance, Phastek only carries BBK and ARH (the latter is expensive!):
https://www.phastekperformance.com/2...ers-s/1486.htm I have the BBKs and they’re awesome. If I was to buy again, I’d spend the extra $100 or so and get the ceramic coated ones. I believe there are one or two off brands out there, one of which had a decent following on this forum but also had some gripes. I’d stick with the BBKs and call it a day. They sound great and, with a tune, give you a bit of an ass dyno bump. |
