Disappointed in Camaro SS from Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

For those of you who have picked up a copy of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, is anyone else disappointed in the Camaro SS model???

I work in the Automotive CGI industry, so I have alot of issues with the execution of our beloved car. It seems the artists modeled it after the Camaro Concept, with the lower fascia of the LT, but with the mailslot from the SS. They got the headlamps right, with the inboard turn signals. However, they got the side placement of the Camaro badge completely wrong, placing it right above the rocker panel on the front fender.

Does this bother anyone else??? It seems all of the other vehicles were executed perfectly..... so why the half-ass job on the Camaro??

I haven't picked it up yet, but that kinda is a letdown.

How is the game though, pretty good? Worth buying?

I agree! It looks unfinished from the incorrect bumber, to the misplaced Camaro badges and the taillights just don't look right. The badge is the main thing wrong though. It shouldn't have been that hard to move it to the correct location.

Besides the issue with the Camaro, the game is extremely fun from what I have played. Definitely worth buying. I was really looking forward to racing around in "my car" though..... and unfortunately it looks like i'll have to wait till Gran Turismo 5 for that.

It's pretty fun. The timed challenges (responding to emergency calls in X-amount of time with penalties for crashing into things) are getting on my nerves though.

I agree! I've been wanting a racing game for a long time now, but couldn't find one that I really wanted! NFS is definitely worth the time and money!

it is still worth it the graphics are great but i think gt5 will be better of course
