Had it in my last car, for years, and will renew it when the trial period runs out for this one. Don't think I've ever paid full price for the subscription. I travel regularly for work, and my family is scattered all over the eastern half of the country.

For me, it's incredibly convenient to have all my stations follow me around wherever I go.

Cell reception is pretty spotty some (most) of the places I travel, satellite, not nearly as much, otherwise I'd probably make do with the things I can stream through the phone.

I have XM in my Camaro... free for now. I had it in my Ridgeline, not anymore. I refuse to pay the $200 annual fee.

I get $25 for 6 months deals all the time to reactivate my Ridgeline. I just listen to Slacker.

previous owner paid a long term subscription to get a better rate and then sold the car before it was up I bet. Could be as long as 3 years, actually they offered lifetime sub's back in the early days, but I don't think they ever did that on car receivers.

theyll always cut you a deal

I started with the free trial. Canceled it. After a while of them bugging me to come back I did a 6 month deal for 30 bucks. then canceled. I let them bug me for another period of time and I now have 6 months for 20 bucks. I don't really use it all that much but it is nice to have especially at that price

I paid $89.00 last Dec for a year. That is about $7.50 a month.

I was getting that also but the last time they said no. I said cancel my service. 5 minutes later no more Sirius radio. Had to call back and got for $89.00 for 12 months.

I installed a Siriusxm SXV300 tuner to radio yesterday. I turned it to Sirius and I am getting all the stations. I'll have to transfer the radio from my stand along to the Kenwood.

Had you waited a few days, you would have received a card offering the 6 months for $25.

I paid $100 bucks for 12 months once my free trial expired. I actually thought that was a decent deal now that im reading they offer 6 months for 30 bucks not so much.

Agreed.
But if anyone wants to keep XM just call and tell them you want to cancel...they'll give you a great rate then.
