I would just look for the color car you want. Literally tons of black Camaros out there.

I 100% understand.

I'm a believer of "anyone can do anything they want to their car". However, I'm aware blue is a rare color but I forgot it hurts resale value.

So painting is out of the question. Even if it was $2000.

If I do buy it, I'll sell it and then use the money to purchase another one. Or, I may keep it and wrap it. I wouldn't plasti-dip it. I need to research to see how it would hold up in salt.

Vinyl wrap. Or, if you like satin colours... Xpel stealth film applied on the blue could look killer!

Here is my black 1LE with stealth film. It fully protects your car, way more than vinyl, and gives your factory colour a wicked look! Kind of like BMW's frozen paint. Blue would look great, imo.

I honestly don't think salt would affect it at all. It's stain resistant. But you'd be better off to contact Xpel and ask them directly.

It cost $5000 installed. Keep in mind this isn't vinyl. It's thick paint protection. It was a 3 day process and installed perfectly. The cost to manufacture this film is FAR higher than any vinyl wrap. It has a 7 year warranty.

Wow, not cheap, but looks amazing. Not sure how that would look for a color like mine.

Nope, not cheap. But I really wanted to protect the paint and enjoy a unique look. So it worked out perfectly!

It's obviously not the right red but here's a BMW with their frozen red paint. It looks killer, IMO.
