Wish it would have the 7 speed and wish the v6 had more power. Also afm on the v6 manual would be nice as the only reason id get a 6 is if it had substantially better mpg than the 8 on the freeway.
I would have loved to see a V6 turbo option especially with how awesome the one on the Cadillac is. Also, ac vents look like they are going to be torture especially for driving a manual on a cold night in traffic. Last edited by ender2664; 05-17-2015 at 10:49 PM. |

Center console ventilation will not be practical at all. BOL to those who live anywhere it gets north of 70 degrees.

I love the console vents and that they have the balls to break the mold and do something different. |

I don't know what I was thinking stating the push button parking brake was a +. I don't like the brake on mine because I like it stiff, but it ideally should be a practical working brake that can be used in performance driving, right?
Ford is to Aston Martin as Chevrolet is to Lexus? This shade of red is beautiful and I think it will be a top seller. Last edited by R19; 05-17-2015 at 10:27 PM. |

I wonder how anyone can really complain about the functionality of any aspect of the 6th gen from just looking at pictures of it? The way it looks yes but the way it actually works, shouldn't that be made after you try it out? Until you do actually try one do you really know how they will work in the real world?
Right now it's like looking at a picture of pair of shoes and deciding if they are going to fit or be comfortable on your feet. You need to try them on first.

I'm pretty sure a sweaty or cold right hand is going to be well taken care of.

To be totally honest...
I'm concerned about how the interior is going to age. Not really material wise but I am just concerned it's going to have a very short lifespan of when it is fresh and interesting. |

Well the center vent on the 5th gen already freezes my right hand and arm, maybe the low position will allow the air to flow up through the gap between your arm and leg when you have your hands placed properly on the steering wheel, I can't tell from the pictures how adjustable the vents are.

If we're focusing on something like the infotainment system and digital screens, the answer is easy: badly. This is part of a big gripe I have with the auto manufacturing business in general, not just GM. Software interfaces age by far the quickest. I have a feeling that it'll support Apple Carplay and Android Auto, at least. It's part of a bigger issue because most major talent in the software world ends up pursuing higher salaries outside of the automotive market. At least manufacturers are now opening up to 3rd party APIs and interfaces in a sandboxed environment.

I'm sure the Gen 6 is a big improvement over the Gen 5. I'm not that impressed with the new body style looks to much like the Gen 5.

colors are awesome but...
There's not enough to make me even consider getting out of my 2SS. She's like a beautiful thoroughbred and at 50K, never a hint of trouble, even after bolt-ons. Guess she's going in the barn and I'm gonna go get a Jag XF coupe. Pretty underwhelmed with the 6th gen 16.

The SS/RS badge placement looks off to me.
I strongly dislike the electronic parking brake. The rear quarter window shape is too kicked up at the bottom. Looks Korean or Japanese. It should match the line of the hip, like on the 10-15. Not a fan of the pedestal spoiler on the SS. |
