Z/28 Brakes Available For ZL1?

Now that GM is building the Z/28 with the carbon ceramic Brembo brakes, does anybody know if they will be a direct fit to a ZL1. The bolt pattern looks the same and the caliper looks the same too. I tried looking at every brake internet site I could to find the rotors/pads but can't seem to find any.

Brembo has the Z/28 on their webpage, but no links to any sort of "BUY THESE BRAKES NOW" button.

Also are the brakes lifted from the ZR1 Corvette? Or specifically made for the new Z/28?

Any ideas, part numbers etc?

Not sure of the part #'s but someone said these would run 8-10k for a complete set.

I have no idea if this is the case, only passing along what I read.

I estimated earlier around 7.5K to 8K. However as you stated it could be up to 10K depending on how bad they want to release them to the non Z28 owners. It's wasted money if you buy them and do not ever take the car on a road course. That is where you can feel the advantage and repeated stopping power of the carbon ceramic discs. They do generate a lot of heat and dust. The owners that complained about dust with the stock pads and changed to ceramic pads take note.

Has anybody actually found the brakes on the ZL1 lacking?
Lacking enough to possibly spend several thousand dollars to adapt the Z28 brakes (if it's even possible)?

Or are they just curious.

Can some say Carbon Edition ZL1? Wouldn't the recaro seats, carbon fiber rockers and spoiler be fitting? Possibly the addition of a ZL1 specific intake? Just saying.

I think they will retrofit just fine if you pokets are deep enough. I know Zr1 brakes retrofited on the vett's withouth mechanical issue.
