I think they did an amazing job, wouldn't change anything for now. Until I can actually get in one I wont know if they missed something. I have the ZL1 and now I want a Z28

I feel the Z28 falls between the ZL1 and Copo Camaro. As we all know the COPO is a limited production car starting at $90,000 I believe. And is not street legal like the Z28 will be. I think GM is doing a great job with the performance car line up, it just keeps getting better!

I am going to borrow this, if you don't mind Scott.

I am making this my anthem. In fact, I am going to make a banner with that phrase big enough for (insert names here because I guess we're not allowed to get too political on the forum, but we all know who I'm talking about) to see from their office in that building with the dome on top and that other building that starts with the word white and ends with the word house.

Maybe we could just cut the power off to all the environmentalists houses and take their cars away and give them a bicycle....

Anyone have an Original 67 Z/28 want to put it up against a 2014 Z/28 in a comparison test?

It was simply a $385 option in 1967. Only 602 were produced the first yr. in today's times minimum of 10000 should be produced regardless of whether or not that many are ordered. If its a 1 yr manufactured car, I see no more than 1500 produced because of price ordered. Back in '67, they may have been race cars, but they were sedans which meant they were reliable on the street.

$60000+ garage statues they'll be. They should've replaced the 1LE rather than make it what it is today IMO.

As for what fbod said about voting out our elected officials? That's just a crock of you know what. Voting is non existent to public. Everyone knows this. No matter who you vote for its been already decided who wins elections. But that's a diff story.

There's always a few that have to put a negative spin to ruin it for the rest.
Yes, everyone has an opinion and you can state it as such, but it will be perceived as whining and complaining when it goes against the grain. My .02 cents. Carry on

The general public didn't even know about the option in 67 until after they started winning races. Only SCCA race teams really knew that it existed at first, unless you were A SPECIAL CUSTOMER....

Do you really think they went into this to build a car for everyone? I'm sure they have a pretty good idea how many they will build and sell. They have a few months to really know with the phones ringing off the hook with interest in the car..

And I'm sure there is a lot of people with ties to GM in the racing and car collecting community that knew of this car loooong before the NY show..

So I would bet there was a long list for the car long before you or I ever knew about the car..

Get a grip on reality. If you want the badge go buy it stick it on your car and walla you have your own special Z/28. Cause if GM would have done anything different just to make the few of you happy it would have been the same as you just throwing a Z/28 badge on your car..

At first I can see where some of you might of been disappointed, but after three days it starts to sound like a spoiled kid not getting his/her way..

I can't afford one either but I love what GM has done with the fifth gen as a whole and I feel grateful to be a part of what's happening in the Camaro line-up cause when the dust settles there may never be another movement like this in our lifetime..

Peace out..

^ you are correct, see the link below.

Unfortunately the Z/28 has been just a "badge" for sooooo long many don't understand what has happened. To all; bask in the shine of the Z/28 as it was intended to be. It's back!

No dude. I don't want just a badged car. But reality of what this car is? Is a garage queen. Sure it's a track car no doubt. But the many of those that say its a real Z, grew up in the 60s. If I could afford to throw $60+k at it right now I'd own one and burn it up on a track strip or street. I'd gladly trade mine to get one if the price was lower. I wanted a stripped out racer FACTORY built with warranty. But I won't trade mine and dump $40k more on it. Later on maybe but it sucks I have to grow old before owning in my youth.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Just about every single thing in this post proves that.

Earlier you told me to piss off and that you could afford this car. Which is it? It really sounds like you're just here to argue and spout off things that are completely false.
