Ok. The cruise is going to begin at the hotel and will end at Firebird.

I just sent all the route info to Maricopa Sheriff's Dept. We'll see what my contact says.

Great as they are the experts at moving large quanitities of vehicles and would be able to tell which route is the safest and fastest.

Exactly. We left this in the hands of the Valdosta County Sheriff's Dept last year and they did a wonderful job coordinating the cruise. Obviously, we can't run a coordinated cruise without the help of the local law enforcement, so.. I have been in contact with them for a while now and was told over the phone tonight that they are VERY excited to have us come to town and that a few of the officers are going to be stopping by to say hi at the hotel.

Maybe someone will end up in the back of a patrol car like last year...and in cuffs!!!

Wanted to check on the route... Do we have one set yet?

I want to set up and do some filming, and still be able to hop into the cruise! I want to be able to get ahead of everyone!

Looks like we'll be working with this route. There's some last minute changes that I hope to get settled up on Monday. But, Maricopa County can no longer help us with the cruise. We are moving to the Arizona State Troopers. And, from the sounds of it, they've done upwards of 2,500 harleys in a cruise before. Our group shouldn't be an issue. It's just a last minute change and it should work out fine.

There's no real way to get a GOOD cruise in with twisties and great scenery AND....still get it done in a reasonable time. So, the route that we have down is just over an hour and will take us on mostly highway. Should work fine and still be a good time.
