G5CR Stage 2 CAI for V6 LLT

I am attaching the following pictures of the Stage 2 CAI from Gen5CamaroRacing or G5CR.com. This is a division of Modular Mustang Racing. The Stage 2 is rated at +15 - 20HP. I am awaiting documentation from them at this time. There is a noticeable increase in low end torque, and a slightly more muscular sound to the engine while speeding up. There is no increase in the sound in the cabin. Enjoy.

Pictures are of Stock Engine, then the Stage 1 CAI (Filter only to replace factory Air Box). Then the last pictures are of the Stage 2 CAI from different angles.

I bought the same exact type of CAI from MMR for my 2005 V6 Mustang... After installing, dynoing, data logging... well, i swore I would never buy another product from MMR... and that's all i'm saying...

Surely you jest. Why do people think we V6ers will put something under our hoods that resembles something slapped together with garage scraps and electrical tape?? Think I'll wait too - for something equal in quality and performance to my Corsa exhaust and that looks classy also.

Because most company knows that most of us know nothing about cars...and sometimes they dont too...look at the cai offered on v6 and v8 and the only good one so far are airaid and adm for the v8 Why you ask; because an airbox NEEDS to be sealed to breath from the factory scoops (AN HEAT SHIEL WONT DO ANYTHING FOR YOU IF IT DOESNT SEAL 100%)

Without a way to direct air into the sealed air box how do you propose your not going to still get hot air in the intake? That is to say if your sitting in 100 degree weather and the pavement is 140 degrees where exactly is the cool air coming from. Even if your on the road going 80 you still have warm ambient air. It would be a good test to see how hot the intake air was between a shielded and non shielded intake. Even on a dyno your still pulling ambient air in and is the hood up with a fan or down with a fan or no fan. I think you guys are jumping to conclusions with speculation and no hard facts. I'm willing to listen and give it a chance, if it makes the power then its good. Either way it looks better than a piece of plastic and clearly with a washable air filter and it being an open element air filter I'd say win win.
