V6 Aftermarket Clutch

With all the hoopla about the AY6 transmissions I'm looking for an aftermarket clutch. Anyone swapped theirs out yet? Knowcant of any that will work. I've been looking at the SPEC 05-07 3.6 CTS kits. Going to give Centerforce a call tomorrow to see what clutch the Leno car used, or what they have that will work.

Ok here's the deal, the Leon Camaro clutch was special made for him. There are no plans to make another like that unless you brought the car to the shop in Arizona. The rep is going to talk to the engineer about a price on the Leno type clutch. However they are working on production parts for our car, and they are in need of cars for development.

We should see if the AZ C5 volunteer would get a free clutch out of the deal.

So the centerforce clutch kit for the ay6/3.6l cts does not fit then or was one never made? The pricing on the spec clutches is insane. To me $400 is about my max budget for a clutch kit. Let me know what kinda price point they were thinking if they said ne thing about that.

Only one was custom made, and given to leno for SEMA.

I'll give him another call. $575 for a clutch kit is a bit more than I really want to spend. Especially when the SS kit is no more than 400.

Any word on aftermarket clutches?

Chevrolet is willing to buy me an aftermarket clutch, as they can not provide me with a new OE unit.

TIA!

My clutch is slipping already and I drive it completely normally... i'm a little pissed off actually cause the dealership is trying to charge me 1300 for the work and parts and the f**king thing shouldn't be wearing down after only a year of completely normal use (13.5k miles).
