Even if you don't find the Sharpie branded paint pens, the ones pictured in this thread should be fine. As mentioned, normal sharpie's are not permanent, and can't be painted over.

I talked to Sparky about this and he said Scott carries black and silver sharpies just for this purpose so no need to worry.
