It is an awesome design, and is the closest thing to a belt driven turbocharger I could find. Although really when it is driven by the crank it is a supercharger, and when that drive system is disengaged it is a turbocharger.
K.. thanks for the info

rayhawk, my posts may have seemed rude, especially to someone that don't know me... No offense intended.

I like the LS9 system with the stashed intercoolers.

Exhaust driven turbos are pretty much bullet-proof anymore, but the under hood heat is a turn-off for me.

I'm surprised smack hasn't come in here with an ar15 and cleared out all this supercharged 6 talk

...As far as the turbo-super-roots-centrifuge-screw... Call me a lost cause LOL

Gonna start calling it this...
centrifugal fluid pump (air is a fluid)

..... Wait.... Does that make a water pump a .... nevermind

No offense taken by me, that is for sure. I just thought some other gearheads would like that engine and since the topic came up about ways to drive a centrifugal compressor, I decided to post the info.

There has been no more confirmation of no Z28 than there has been of Z28.

There, I have denied your claim.

Where's Shno? Wasn't he bringing the beer again?

When Shno's MIA here, I get nervous.
