These comments are all spot on IMO.

Try to get the rear view camera, that will really help with backing out the convertible. You can literally see NOTHING when back out the vert.

rear camera is standard on the verts, along with a subwoofer. but after i put the top up, my gf and i checked it over and it looked ok thus far. again, this car been sitting alot with only 58 miles. rebates on these will prob increase 9/3. the salesman was able to sit in back, but the think wide side panel pushed him over to middle. but, i wont really have any adults riding in back, just my 9 yr old son.

test drove the vert and noticed road noise from back, thought rear quarter window was open a little. salesman sitting in back said vert has more road noise. no filler from back seat, open to trunk. is this normal for the vert? test drove coupe and quieter.
thanks

Yes it's normal, the coupe not only has the enclosed trunk, the back seat helps insulate noise, if you put the back seat down in a coupe it will be noisier too. That and the fact you have less sound insulation with the cloth top to begin with the convertible will be louder.

oh ok, i figured that would be the case. as long as theres nothing wrong with the car, top, insulation, etc. i am interested in this one possilbly. i do know my 98 firebird is loud anyway, due to open area back, hatchback, etc. but the salesman pointed out the noiser vert noise. too. i guess thats why the BA system is in the car to drown out the noise. lol. but both cars drove real nice, but i still caught myself looking out the back window of vert changing lanes.

Put a nice exhaust on it and you won't care about it being noisier, you can hear the exhaust better

Yes it does but it only blows the horn and flashes the lights. The light sensor on the dash has an LED in it that flashes when the security system is armed. If you lock the car with the remote it should arm 15-30 seconds later or if you hit the lock button twice it should arm immediately. If any door, trunk or hood are opened without unlocking it with the fob the alarm should sound.

I'm still debating what to do with my exhaust and the MRT V2 is at the top of the list. Did you just do the axle back, or did you change anything else like cats or resonator?

Just the axle Back. the only other thing I have done is the Vmax ported throttle body, if you haven't gotten one that should be one of your top mods, along with a catch can.
