Wheel/Rim LEDs
I was thinking about putting leds there for my next project but I was wondering what you guys think about it? Has anyone done this to their camaro and where did you get your materials?

I have seen a few people here say this is a good place to get them:
http://www.ledunderbody.com/Multi-Co...ight-Kits.aspx I think it's a good idea, but many don't. But, if you like it do it! I wanted to do it but got out voted by my wife. I said yes and she said no... Her vote counts twice!

Just wanted some opinions and references about it. I was curious whether this would be a good idea to do!

wow i didnt know people got so sensitive all of a sudden. if i was a dick i wouldnt of posted a link to what he even wanted. Im just saying theres faster ways to find things than asking and sitting around and waiting for a response. it took me like a whoppin 1 min to find what he was looking by typing "wheel lights" into the search bar. i at least look around a little first before i ask. god know theres already 100 threads about the same one topic. To the OP i wasnt trying to be a dick i was just trying to help you find things a little faster. and to you you need to get your panties out of bunch SORRY HAD TO SAY IT.

I found what I was looking for from Ohio Speed! Still looking for opinions whether or not adding the lights on the wheels make it look too ricey or something along those lines?

at least i helped him all you did is jump in and get this link off topic calling people dicks and provided no relevant information.
anyways.... I think wheel lights look cool. definately set you appart if you want to show your car. As for driving on the road i wouldnt do that for safety reasons. Its your car man make it your own. good luck with your decision! post pics if you get it done. |

A lot of people will say they look "rice" or whatever but I like them. I've seen a good quality kit on eBay for like $150 but I can't seem to find them now. I'm pretty sure it was the Lightning Wheels kit someone mentioned above. |

Here is the kit you are wanting. I did the RGB and be sure to get the 15 3/4 size. Anything bigger will be to close to the rims. Several members have ordered from him so he should know the size.

Those look like the ones I saw before, but it seemed like they were selling them at $150 starting price.

I orderd mine couple of months ago at the price listed on EBay, but if you do the RGB option going to be slightly more. I can tell you when doing the research not very many other lighting places even offering RGB as a choice when ordering. I jump on the option when refered to his site and went with the RGB for the different choice of light colors. I can say weedahoe is great to work with on customer service. My first set was the wrong size and had no idea nor did the installer since the first set at his shop. Once I picked up the car noticed the error. Weedahoe took care of me and was able to get the correct size in no time at all.
