I have 2 co-workers that just bought the 370Z. I guess it has it's appeal for some that like small cars. I got to sit inone and started it up, and it was cool, just not a muscle car for sure. Although I didn't get to sit in a Camaro yet, I did see one roped off at the local car show. All I can say is the Camaro speaks to me, it has soul, unlike any other car. I think alot of people that bought the 370z will regret it after seeing a Camaro up close. Can't wait to get mine home ! Checked yesterday and still at 3300.

Do they have any nissan employees on their site who were actively involved in the development of their car?

Where did you find this out? And does that mean you will be the 3300 Camaro built?

I've driven a 370Z, and to be quite honest, it didn't excite me. It pulls great, handles sharply, and the interior is quite driver oriented (something I'm major about), but it lacked raw excitement in a straight line. UNFORTUNATELY, I live in a traffic jammed city where a 2 seater track car isn't in my best interest. I need something that can take bumps, hold more than 1 passenger, more than 1 cubic foot of stuff, and still be fun to punch it for 5 seconds on the highway. The 370Z is a sports car. That is all. It has no practicality behind it, and therefore, it's no car for me.

The 370Z is a nice car, but just too small inside for me. I also think the Camaro is a lot meaner looking, which is what I want.
There is one thing the 370Z has I wish the Camaro had, that downshift rev matching. That is a cool option! I can't wait to see how good the launch control is in the SS.

I called my dealer and he checked for me. Looking for an update later this week. It was accepted by GM (status 2000) on 3/3 so who know's, maybe even get the Vin# this week.

I know where hes coming from, reading what we've said about the 370Z I can't say as I would blame him.
