Did the SS just get another horsepower rating increase???

I just received a detailed GM AutoBook spec sheet for my order. There are tons of great details but one that grabbed my attention was in the powertrain specs. So, do you think this is a typo or do you think it may become official?

Those are the numbers for the vette with normal exhaust .. I'm going to say it is a typo as I thought the 426 number was the SAE Certified number ..

MSN Auto has an article about 3 modern muscle cars today the Camaro, Challenger and Mustang. It allows you to price each car out with options and it also has the Camaro hp rated at 430.

So glad I ordered the LS3. It looks like it'll have identical horsepower output with the Corvette.

Now if we could only get the new Camaro to go on a diet.

I'm not trying to deminish the post, because that is pretty cool it's making more power, but it's not that much more. Regardless, the more the better

Thank you for sharing

Hey, even if it's 4 HP, I'll take it. If you don't want yours, I'll take yours off your hands too.

I'd say we should expect 375-390 whp when people start putting stock LS3s on the dyno.
