$59,999.....I bet they will keep it below the "60" mark....this will be the "base" price.

,,it was disclosed in the most recent interview of Al O where he said north of 56,5K...that does not equate 80K territory. Previous verbiage along the same lines brings the point down to a small sum beyond that.

I don't think it will be as high as some people think based on the prices for the ZL1 and 1LE. I'm thinking low $60s.

Wixom Performance Build Center to close in January/14. And all the Z/28 engines will be built by then...
http://www.autonews.com/article/2013...#axzz2f4y0qcki The build rate is 3 per line per shift, on average. C6 Vette production in Bowling Green ended on March 1st, so LS7-only production will total approx. 10 months. The last tour I was a part of was 2 years ago. At that time, 6 lines plus the Customer Build line were active. Has anyone been through Wixom, lately? Or has Reuss tipped us to the fact that Wixom will continue beyond the "Corvette shift to Bowling Green"? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=dofT6IicUmQ Last edited by LOWDOWN; 09-16-2013 at 01:24 PM. |

Not sure... but it is 14:30 in if anyone else want to check it out. I am racking my brain because I think this question about engine production was already answered.... damn old age creeping in.
