Purchased Camaro 1SS Today - Great Dealer Experience

Hello Camaro5 Members,

I've been reading member feedback, comments, and suggestions for buying a new 2010 Camaro SS. I want to thank everyone from sharing their opinions on colors and available incentives. Attached is a photo
of my new Camaro SS. It is a 1SS, 6sp manual, 20" polished wheels, victory red w/black cloth interior. No frills, just pure American Muscle
for me. My Camaro was built 11/13/09, and is # 66,485. It is dealer
ordered car, not ordered by me. I previously ordred a IOM 1SS from
another dealer and waited 5 months with no movement in order status.
So I cancelled it and decided to wait til after the new year til I saw this
beautiful red 1SS beast. The dealer I purchased it from is Bill Crispin
Chevrolet in Saline, Mich...70 miles from where I live in Northwest Ohio.
Bill Begley, 734-429-9481 my sales person was professional, knowledgeable on Camaro specs, not high pressure. The dealership staff was up-front on all Camaro rebates including USAA $750, GM Card $1,000 earnings, $500 no return rebate, and dealer discount. I saved $2,980 off $32,065 MSRP, plus deduct the state sales tax on my 2009 federal taxes.

Since it has been snowy last week or so, I didn't want to drive my new
Camaro home in the salt. The dealer agreed to split the cost to deliver
my Camaro to my home (heated garage) in a covered trailer this week.
My share, $125.00. Attached is a picture of my Camaro 1SS.

Bill Crispin Chevy had 6 Camaro 1SS/2SS in stock including IOM, Yellow,
Black, Silver, Red Jewel, and another victory red 2SS available.

Thanks Again Everyone for the Great Feedback on this site !!

Dave

Glad to have you aboard here.

Sounds like a great experience. 5 months with NO movement? Damn. You must have went to a seriously small dealer the first time.

That red car looks damn good surrounded by all that white. Congrats on the car. Hope you enjoy it.

Congratulations on your purchase! Going with a covered trailer to get your SS Camaro home in the winter = smart.

That is a great looking Camaro. I have Black and sometimes regret not getting an easier color to take care of. Red with polished wheels is a great combo.

Congrats on the new ride. Having a great dealer makes the buying experience all that much better. Sutherland Chevrolet in Nicholasville was great to deal with. They also have 3 Camaro's on the lot right now, I think maybe 2 SS's and an LT. Ask for Chuck!

Beautiful car! Congrats... Mine will be a 1SS also .delivered in February hopefully and is to be delivered on a flat bed to my house from the dealer. Not as protected as an enclosed trailer but it's better than driving it home in the salt.
