Pretty much every year Land Rover is at the very bottom of the J.D. Power list of number of defects per 100K vehicles with sometimes nearly double the problems of the next lowest performer. Funny as I see tons of them around being driven by the country club types, you know the ones that won't buy "American" cars because of their perceived lack of quality. I find it incredibly ironic.

I didn't have real good reliability with my 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse back then. (Shifting linkage issues) Everything else I've bought has been decent. The Eclipse model has finally been discontinued.

And I remember cutting a guy out of a mid-80's Volvo wagon with the Jaws of Life at an accident scene. Car was tough as nails, and probably saved the guys life after a head-on crash with a mid 70s Mopar. They didn't need to fake a commercial. |

Mitsubishi..... so awful its listed it twice.
We're talking current offerings right? Because I feel that the 4g63 is one of the best 4 cylinders.

I voted for Saab. Self explanatory.
My Maxima and Juke have worked great. So I know Nissan did a good job with them.

Saturn definitely needs to be on this poll haha that's who I'd vote for. Got some advice from a mechanic once. "When it turns over 100,000 miles, park it on the side of the road and walk away"

Hope she is okay. Airbags typically won't deploy if she got rear ended unless it slammed her into the car in front of her. Seat belt thing might be an issue but doubtful as well.

Hyundai owns about 32% of Kia, and is listed as the parent company of Hyundai/Kia Group. After sitting in both at a recent auto show, they get my vote as both felt cheap and doors felt like tin cans when closing.
