MD Emmissions?
ok guys, im transfering to NAS Pax River here in a few months. what are the laws that petrain to emmissions? annual check or what? any info would be awesome!
i ask because im currently running Long tubes and no Cats.... |

just after you register your car here you will receive emissions notice.....then x2 years

yep just quick scan of the computer every two years and if you aren't throwing any trouble codes you're good.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe NAS Pax River is in St. Mary's County, where I live, there is NO emissions testing. Your car will be required to pass the Maryland State Inspection, but that doesn't include emissions.

Yes but thats also just saftey inspection thats a 1 time deal then after that you can do what ever as long as no codes like everyone said i passed when i had my car with no cats no problems.

i guess the only issue now is that i currently have no cats....so ill need an emmisions when i first register it.....gonna need some OEM manifolds and stock cats or will high flows work? i know in Cali high flows are still illegal.
