Just got my new 2014 2SS/RS 1Le on 11/1 and I'm trying to read up on the whole tire thing, I've been driving around getting estimates on new Tires and Wheels and am kinda getting hit with sticker shock. My wife is telling me there's no way I'm spending another 2k after just dropping a hefty down payment on the car.

Unfortunately I live in Indiana and I need to get them SOON and on as low a budget as possible.

Does anyone have suggestions to make it through the winter? Will factory 2010-13 SS wheels and tires Fit the 2014 1Le?

Congratz on the ride and Welcome to the site!! Yes the SS wheels will fit. Check out the market place on this site sometimes you can hit on some pretty sweet deals.

I need new tires for winter not from driving only 400 miles on mine, I'm sorry I wasn't very clear why I needed them.

I just put Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires on, but not cheap at about 320 per tire installed. I don't know the answer to your rim question. my understanding is that the stock SS rims are 9" in the front and 10" in the rear as opposed to the 1LE 10" front and 11" wide rear.

Can y give some feedback on the pilot sport a/s 3? I'm looking at doing something soon and this seems to be the option at pops up.

If you could comment on both driveability and appearance differences

see my posts in the following thread I have pictures posted there so you can judge the visual aspect for yourself. as far as drive-ability I feel they are quite responsive maybe even more so than the goodyears. the grip is awesome in the cool weather and I don't feel like every rock is being flung down the side of my car. no experience on wet roads yet, and I won't be driving in the snow just cold clear days. until you wear off the coating on the tread you skate around a bit, once that is gone they are great. I have a nice sweeper curve on the way to work that I could take at 50mph with the goodyears and I can easily take it just as fast with these tires even with the cool temps. hope this helped.

150 in the rain... these tires are planted!! I agree the turn in quicker than the Goodyear. These are a no brainer... if you consider that they have a 45000 mile tread life they are really an awesome all weather option for this car.

I just purchased the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 from tirebuyer.com for 312 and getting the put on Friday. I will post on what I think after having them on for a week.

Getting prepared to buy winter tires for my DD and was looking for some advice.
Wheels that I have found are based on 2013 SS wheels:
Front: 20x8 (23mm offset) with Goodyear Eagle GT tires 245/45ZR20
Rear: 20x9 (42mm offset) with Goodyear Eagle GT tires 275/40ZR20

These are likely the combo I will buy. Main question is if they will fit the car. Thanks for the input!

Just put on the A/S 3's on my 1LE, 285/35/20 on all 4 to match the factory specs.
The tires ride and handle better than the factory good years wet traction is better and we had our first snow only 1/2 inch and the car seemed to drive ok a little slick but any rear wheel drive with wide tires would act the same way. I wouldn't drive the car in a foot of snow but the tires worked well. Plus they have a 45000 mile warrantee if you rotate. I will have to break down front and back every so often but still 45000 Miles... WOW... I got them at discount tire for $1280 out the door. so if you’re looking like I was I would try that.

Took me awhile to get back to you but you were right. The wheels resist getting dusty from the brakes alot better than before. They just look better longer. Thanks, you saved me time, money and maybe ruining my wheels.

They also clean up easier.
