That royally sucks. I had my car egged back in high school, and I was livid. I can't even imagine what I'd feel like if it happened to my brand new car.

I would highly recommend the car cover to avoide being egged like this. It's a lot cheaper than a new paint job.

The clear coat on the trunk where the egg was is destroyed. Fortunately it was on the trunk only so I'm hoping we can just get the entire trunk lid repainted.
Hope you can get your car done in time for CTC in October!!!

We're gonna drop it off to get painted next week, they are going to remove the trunklid and spoiler and repaint both of them off of the car so there will be no overspray chances.

Get a Carry Permit

Suggest you may want to get a carry permit. I was on a 2 month business trip to Baton Rouge in 2007 and I am aware of the situation following hurricane Kitrina. I also never saw as many cars with custom wheels, Baton Rouge is the Wheel Capital of the south!
Be safe!

I think I like the way your mind seems to work Adygale. LOL

To the OP I hope you get her looking good again asap. Good Luck!!

bunch of pricks out there, brothers mustang got paintballed a few weeks ago. They paintballed the mustang and the left side of the garage because they knew the camaroi was on the left side of the garage.
Came home and saw, drove around what do you know, come across a very suspicious vehicle, they see me and jet. Got their plate. Called the cops and filed a report.
We put cameras up now just in case they come again. Was the brother of some stupid kid who scratched my Camaro on my own driveway with his bike.
Sometimes you want to do things, but you realize thatr you actually have a life unlike those.
One thing....Karma is a B****

No need for a permit in Louisiana. We have a law that says your car is an extension of your home. What ever is leagal in your home is legal in your car. You are allowed to keep a loaded firearm any where in your car. Louisiana also passed a law about twelve years ago called the Shoot The Car Jacker Law (we already had a shoot the burglar law in place). If anyone approches your car brandishing a wepon while you are in it, you can blow em away.

I purchased a Taurus Judge anti-carjack system for my Camaro SS.

Same deal in Texas. Apparently, even if the car jacker is running away, you still have the legal right to shoot him.

Yes, I am planning to practice shooting at our camp soon, and then a new gun!

I love your attitude! Always remember the true definition of good gun control...It means always hitting your target.

Check out the Taurus Judge. It is the best handgun to come out for defensive purposes. I installed one in my Camaro SS and named it The Judge Anti-Carjack System. Like the old commercial use to say, don't leave home without it!
